Energy Balls

Rikus’ Energy Balls’ – are made from recycled newspaper & grated candle wax OR wood shavings.

Wet newspaper sheets are sprinkled with the grated candle wax or wood shavings and then folded in a specific way and scrunched into a ball. The ball is then squeezed to get rid of excess water and dried in the sun for 5 days. The energy balls can then be used as fuel in a tin can or stove. A small jam tin stove with one enegy ball can heat another small tin of water for coffee. Larger meals require a larger "stove" and more balls.
